Voluntary Fun for EMS agencies and Hospitals!

Objectives: to evaluate triage training and tag use; to familiarize EMS and hospital staff with SmartTag Triage Tags

Method: Participating EMS agencies will use a triage tag on all patients transported to Region 1 Emergency Departments; EMTs will fill out tags based on triage scheme parameters (medical patients won't always fit the scheme and that's ok, this activity is to familiarize everyone with tag use, and evaluate the usefulness/time-sensitivity of adding information to Triage Tags that would be useful to hospital staff)

Hospitals will collect the Tags and they will be returned to WMEMS. The Region 1 MCI committee will review them to see what trainings or programs we can offer in the future.
