Stations: Each station is 45 minutes in duration, including 5 minute explanation of the station by the instructor, 30 minutes to complete the station and 10 minutes to review the exercise after completion.

Mission is to organize ten (10) patients in triage area with the proper use of Medtags. Areas to be marked by triage categories. All patients must be triaged, tagged and listed as ready for transportation. Treatment officers must be assigned.

Mission is to create a system to load and transport patients. A traffic pattern must be developed, a staging area designated and resources assessed. A transport log of patients (simulated) must be developed and include pertinent patient information and the destination of each patient.

Mission is to organize the medical component of the ICS structure for a MCI involving more than ten victims. The various positions associated with the medical component must be assigned and identified (including medical command, triage, treatment, transportation, staging, communications, safety officer and PIO). Each individual on the "team" must indicate their knowledge of the functions of the station to which they are assigned. A log of the set-up must be recorded.

Mission is to incorporate the first three stations with a number of "twists" thrown in. This will include the need to "gather" patients (not all will be readily seen), and there will be bystander interruption and some of the patients will be less than cooperative. A log of events must be recorded along with a listing of patients and where they went along with completed triage tags for each.

An overall critique of all exercises, comments and suggestions for improvement on specific areas. Discussion on the use and implementation of the county MCI plan.
